Mystical Meal

This is an edited work of a literary debate between perhaps the two most influencial American theologians in the nineteeth century. Charles Hodge is still well know, but John W. Nevin was and remains an obscure name for most Americans. Still, his creation of a debate using Hodge’s review of his book, the Mystical Presence was a groundbreaking and still authoritative study of Calvin’s Eucharistic theology.
